According to its practitioners Wu Ji Boxing was created by Yue Fei - famous Song dynasty general and Chinese patriot. The style was taught by Yue Fei to his soldiers, who never lost any battle to Jin invaders. The movements of the system are simple and direct, great emphasis is attached to speed, power development, power release; practical fighting skills are based on changes of basic techniques. The style resembles both Shaolin Boxing and Xingyiquan.
